I think we need to put things in perspective. Awami league is very close to India, so such statements from their ministers are understandable. they are only talking to their constituencies. they could care less what Pakistan or Pakistanis think.

I agree with you that we should ignore them, but I won't dis-respect them the way you did. They are far better off than us in almost every walk of life. Lets focus on our problems and fix them

Hasina, like her father, has very often shown her her hatred towards Pakistan. It is shameless of her. With the exception of strict trade relation and just required diplomatic relation Pakistan should not have any approach to them, specially Awami League whose main principle is hatred. Let us ignore Bangladesh totally.

We in Pakistan should ignore Bangladesh. It is a distant country that has nothing in common with us. They should be given as much importance as we give to Manyamar, Bhutan or Vietnam.

Commendable span of memory. Just 42 years ago you were one country unified in islam and quran. How convenient to forget the reasons behind why Bangladeshis dislike Pakistan. Pakistan is a story of few elite power hungry landowners who go to any extent to exploit the masses with religion or with guns

I agree we should ignore the bungalis and treat them no different to Bhutan Vietnam etc, how we were once united was due to tragic circumstances ie we wanted to be rid of the Indians and to do so we had to show numbers. But due to the era it was felt it would be better to go as one when in reality we had nothing in common - our language is different, our writing is different, our ethnicity is different, our races our different, our culture is different, our food is different even our religions are different in that the bungalis version of islam is more intwined with Hinduism and more tolerant whereas Pakistan is more orthodox and intolerant of anything indian/hindu. However the ironic thing about the bungalis is that they like the Indians and sri lankans and Nepalese and Maldives all want to be like Pakistan ......... in particular they are all wearing our clothes shalwar kameez (both female and male) and our food such as meat (india is supposed to be vegetarians but they are embarrassed to be so and are now eating their reincarnated fellow hindus if you believe in the hindu being born in an animal ie cow !!) and tandoor dishes and naans and parathas !! ..... you go to any of these countries that is all you now see .... all these countries traditional and cultural dress is a sari and dhoti .... how many Indians bungalis etc do you see wearing their clothes ?? no they all now want to dress like us ............ they even have their stars who are make up or racially more similar to Pakistanis ..... look at the Indians who are their male stars ? all khans and their actresses all fair and built .... most Indians and especially the bungalis are dark and short yet you look at their tv or movies none of them look like 95% of their populations ! so I say to any bungali thank god we split we have nothing in common with you and we don't really care about you lot and I wish you would not try to copy us and be proud of your own race and culture and be more concerned about countries and people who are more akin to you and leave Pakistan out of it, trust me ISI etc have no reason to want your country in any alliance or connection with Pakistan.
