PRINTING GUIDELINES
PHPL will not guarantee the quality of any advertisement published in any one of its publications unless the printing guidelines are strictly adhered to. It is the responsibility of the advertiser or the advertising agency to ensure that the advertisement material provided adheres to the following printing guidelines.
- Advertisement material must be accompanied by a clear set of signed and dated instructions. Instructions on the overlay of the advertisement material must be copied on a separate sheet and attached to the advertisement material.
- An offset printed color proof on newsprint is mandatory for color matching purposes. Laser or computer print outs will not be accepted as color proofs.
- Advertisements received after the deadline will not be accepted. Late advertisements will be accommodated for printing only under exceptional circumstances and only after a disclaimer is signed by the advertiser or the advertising agency accepting complete responsibility for the printed quality of the advertisement.
- An after office hours telephone number must be given to the Marketing Department so that the advertiser or the advertising agency can be contacted, in the event of an emergency.
- Advertisement material scheduled for printing in PHPL publications will only be accepted once the Advertisement Material Receipt Form (AMRF) has been completed. Once the Production Department at PHPL has cleared the advertisement material for printing, a copy of the AMRF will be handed to the advertiser or advertising agency as proof.
