![]() DAWN 2008 Tariff - Weekday Breaking Free Breaking free from the limitations of black and white versus colour, of front and back versus inside page positioning and the restrictions of standard sizes, the DAWN 2008 rate card is designed to assist advertisers gain maximum visibility by optimising all the benefits that come from advertising in DAWN. Putting the Premium on Space The DAWN 2008 Tariff is based on the premise that in a media environment where clutter dominates, space (more than colour, position or even size) is at a premium. Yet, advertisers continue to pay premium rates for colour, position and size, despite the fact that the desired impact still eludes them. The 2008 DAWN Tariff changes all this by radically improving the quality of the space it makes available to its advertisers. DAWN offers advertisers a selection of Premium Pages and B&W Pages in which they can position their advertisements. Within these pages, advertisers can further select the editorial segment they wish to appear in. Premium pages are open to colour and B&W advertisements; the rate however remains the same for both. Fifteen Premium pages are available within 6 editorial segments. B&W pages are charged at the standard rate, and here too space is at a premium. Nine B&W pages are available within five editorial segments on weekdays. With the organisation of the newspaper into two sections of 16 and eight pages each, two Front (Lead and Metropolitan) and two Back (Lead and Sport) Pages are open to advertisers every day, affording them the ability to position their front of back page visibility according to the editorial environment best suited to their product. Published from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, DAWN provides advertisers with nationwide dominance extending from Karachi to Peshawar and beyond.
