ISLAMABAD, April 8: A car with over 200 liquor bottles was found near the farmhouse of former President Pervez Musharraf on Monday.

Police said the security staff spotted the Alto near the residence of the former president in Chak Shahzad.

Later, they informed the police who arrived at the spot  with bomb disposal squad. During search, the  squad found the liquor.

It seemed bootleggers transporting the liquor got frightened on seeing high security around the farmhouse and escaped leaving behind the vehicle, a senior police officer said.

He added that it was yet to be established where the consignment was heading for.
