QUETTA, Feb 10: A bullet-riddled body was found on the outskirts of the industrial town of Hub near the Technical Training Centre on Saturday.

The body was of a man whose name could not be ascertained.

The body was shifted to the Jam Ghulam Qadir government hospital and sources said it carried bullet marks on head and chest.

Meanwhile, 11 suspected outlaws were picked up during police raids in different parts of Hub. “The suspects are wanted for their involvement in different crimes,” senior police officer Zia Mandokhel said.

CLASH: Two people died and a woman suffered injuries in a clash between two groups in Dera Murad Jamali on Saturday.

Gunmen from both sides took positions in Rabi Canal area near Dera Murad Jamali and exchanged fire for two hours.

The gunbattle left two people dead, identified as Qadeer Ahmad and Mushtaq Ahmad. A woman, identified as Najma Bibi, was taken to the DHQ hospital for moderate wounds.

The cause of the fighting was reported to be an old enmity.
