Eight booked

SUKKUR, Dec 9: The Jacobabad police have arrested eight suspects and registered a case against them for snatching two official rifles and encounter with police.

The case (FIR 140/2012) was registered on Sunday at the Saddar police station on a complaint of policeman Abdul Fatah Brohi against the eight suspects —Aishoo Jakhrani, Mitho Jakhrani, Bagoo Jakhrani, Budho Jakhrani, Kamaloo Jakhrani, Yar Muhammad Rind, Zulfiqar Rind and Shabbir Rind.

They were booked for allegedly snatching official rifles and a motorcycle from policemen Brohi and Sher Muhammad Shaikh and for firing on a police squad at the Jacobabad bypass.—BoC
