GUJAR KHAN, Nov 27: Three members of a dangerous gang, involved in heinous crimes in Gujar Khan, have been arrested, police said.

Superintendent Police (SP) Waheed Khattak and ASP Ms Saba Sitar informed newsman of the development, on Monday, while addressing a press conference.

According to the officers, the gang was involved in multiple cases of murder, robberies, kidnappings and assault on police.

Nasir Ali, Zafar Ali Shahban and Rabnawaz Ali were jailed, while other members of the gang, Jawaid Ali and Tariq Khaqan were still at large.

According to the police, Ziarab Ali, allegedly joined his brothers Jawaid Ali, Tariq Khaqan and cousin Ilyas and got involved in nefarious activities.

The arrest was made after a police team was constituted by the regional police officer (RPO) Captain (retired) Mohammad Zubair. —Correspondent
