MIRPURKHAS, Nov 23: A man was gunned down in Meran Shar village in Sindhri taluka on Friday, in what appeared to be a dispute over felling a tree. The victim, Ghulam Rasool Shar, tried to stop Haji Shar from chopping down a certain tree, leading to a heated argument between the two men. Haji Shar allegedly shot Ghulam Rasool who was seriously wounded and died on his way to Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas. His body was later handed over to relatives after completing the medico-legal formalities.
