QUETTA, Nov 12: At least three people of the Hazara community were shot dead and two others injured in an attack on a vegetable shop in Mach Bazaar, Kachhi Bolan district, on Monday.
According to police, Ghulam Ali, Abdullah and Muhammad Ali were killed and two others injured by the assailants who fled on a motorbike after the attack.
Mach Assistant Commissioner Kashif Nabi termed it an incident of sectarian killing.
Hundreds of Afghan Hazara men have been working in coalmines in the area since miners from Swat left after attacks by militants.—Staff Correspondent
