KARACHI, Sept 9: A young man was gunned down near Shahrah-i-Quaideen on Sunday evening, police said.

Armed men riding a motorcycle targeted the 25-year-old man, later identified as Yasir Ali, near Noorani Kabab House, said an official at the Ferozeabad police station.

The victim was rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The police investigators said that the victim was a resident of Abyssinia Lines. He had sustained a gunshot wound to his face, the police officials added.
