LAHORE, Aug 27: Robbers looted cash and valuables worth Rs2.8 million in five major hits in the city on Monday.

Four robbers barged into the house of Arslan in Township police limits, held all family members at gunpoint, looted cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth Rs800,000 and fled.

Some robbers stormed into the house of Imran in Johar Town police limits and took away cash and valuables worth Rs600,000.

Some robbers burst into the house of Imdad in Khana police precincts and looted cash and valuables worth Rs300,000 while some suspects broke into the house of Mazhar in Factory Area police limits and made off with cash and valuables worth Rs300,000.

Two robbers waylaid the family of Mian Rashid in front of Gulshan Iqbal Park and looted cash and valuables worth Rs800,000. — Staff Reporter
