SUKKUR, Aug 27: An enmity between two communities claimed the life of a man in Sawanjro village in Khanpur Mahar police limits in Gotki district on Monday.

Allah Wadhayo Malik was grazing his herd when attacked by unidentified men. Indiscriminate firing killed him on the spot while his assailants fled from the scene.

The body was handed over to relatives after post-mortem examination.

Area people attribute the killing to avenge murder of Shafi Mohammad Bozdar.

No case was registered till the filing of the report.

POLICEMAN KILLED: A police constable of Sindh Reserve Police Sukkur died in accident in Jacobabad on Monday.

Reportedly, Ali Sher Korai was going to his uncle’s house in Jacobabad when the motorcycle he was riding collided head-on with a donkey cart at the Circuit House Road in Civil Lines police limit.

He was shifted to the Civil Hospital in injured condition where he was given first aid and was allowed to go home despite severe injuries to his body. However, he died in the hospital.

No case was registered.

JSSF PROTEST: Activists of Jeay Sindh Student Federation took out a rally and staged a sit-in in Jacobabad on Monday in protest against raids Rangers personnel were conducting on the houses of their central leaders.

Leaders said that they were followers of G.M. Syed and Bashir Qureshi and nobody can stop them from achieving their aims and objectives.
