Explosives seized

TAXILA, Aug 14:  Police on Tuesday foiled a possible terrorist plot on Independence Day in Taxila and seized huge quantity of explosive material and arrested a man belonging to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Police said that acting on a tip off, a police party headed by Inspector Sardar Shakeel Ahmed intercepted a car (D-2918) and during search recovered 200-kg of explosives and arrested Guncha Gull, a resident of Peshawar. A case has been registered against the accused under explosive act.—Correspondent
