Women recovered

KARAK, April 4: Karak police claimed to have got freed two kidnapped women from their captors and also arrested one of the accused.

District Police Officer Sajjad Ahmad Khan informed media persons here the other day that two women Saeeda Jabeen, resident of Deli Mela and Shafina Bibi of Kurd Sharif were kidnapped by their rivals in the limits of Sabirabad police station. On the complaint of the victims’ families, police raided the houses of the kidnappers and recovered both the women. Police also arrested an alleged kidnapper, Hashim Khan, during raid and registered FIR against him in Sabirabad police station. —Correspondent
