TAXILA, March 22: Hassanabdal police on Thursday booked as many as 15 shopkeepers for thrashing two officials of Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) over tax dispute.
Police sources said Mohammad Kamran and Amir Mehmood from finance department of TMA visited local market for collection of signboard tax when some shopkeepers armed with sticks and rods attacked them. They thrashed the officials badly and fled away after snatching cash and official documents from them. — Correspondent
