THIS refers to a large photograph on Dawn’s front page (March 7). The picture shows the people in Lucknow, India, celebrating their party’s success in Uttar Pradesh elections.
I accept that this was ‘news’, but, in my opinion, it was not a news item of such ‘national significance’ that your esteemed newspaper printed a large photograph on the front page.
Placing this large photograph on an inside page would have been more appropriate. I hope you give weight to your reader’s point of view.
