Pirated books recovered

SANGHAR, Feb 27: Some 134 pirated books of the Oxford Printing Press were recovered by police on Monday from a shop.

Police arrested Mohammad Bilal, employee of Pak Book Store and registered an FIR against him under section A-66,67 of Copyright Act and 420 of PPC.

In-charge of the Anti-Piracy Cell at the OUP, Tahir Ilyas said that he visited the shop on information and found pirated copies being sold there.

“I found pirated syllabus books of grade VI, VII, VIII of the OUP being sold at the book shop and informed police,” he added.
