Explosives stolen

CHITRAL, Feb 16: A huge quantity of explosive material was stolen here on Wednesday from the warehouse of Korean construction company Sambu engaged in construction of Golen Gol hydropower project. Chitral police confirmed the incident and said that on Thursday, the manager administration of the company, J Jallium, registered an FIR against unknown persons for stealing 550kg explosives which was being used to blast the mountain to construct tunnel for the power project.

The police took into custody a watchman of the company and started investigation. — Correspondent
