DADU, Feb 10: A woman and a man were killed on the pretext of karo-kari at Moundar Naka here on Friday.
Ali Gul Chandio shot his wife Rehana, 32, dead in his house, Ahmed Ali, a witness, told police. Then he gunned down a man in the street who was trying to escape.
The man was identified as Sharif Chandio, 30, a relative of the accused. Police took the bodies to the civil hospital for post-mortem and later handed them over to relatives.
ASI Naimatullah Babbur told journalists that a double murder case had been registered against Ali Gul and police were conducting raids to arrest him.-Correspondent
