KARACHI, Jan 11: Police found on Wednesday a woman's decapitated body, cut up into many pieces, at a service lane on Shaheed-iMillat Road.

The police said that some area residents informed them about a suspicious bag at a service lane close to the Hill Park. The police reached the spot and found the headless body of a woman, which had been cut up into five pieces.

Ferozabad SHO Ejaz Khawaja said that shortly after the recovery of the body, the severed head of the woman was also found in a plastic bag on Razi Road in the PECHS area.

He said that a sharp-edged weapon was used in cutting the body into pieces. The body parts were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities. Later, the parts were shifted to the Edhi morgue for want of identification.
