KARACHI, Jan 11: A man was shot dead and his associate wounded near Jamia Millia in Malir on Wednesday, police said.
They said that Adnan Brohi and Faqir were targeted close to their residence by assailants riding a motorcycle within the remit of the Al-Falah police station.
They said that both men sustained gunshot wounds and were rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where Brohi died while Faqir admitted in a critical condition.The police said that there was an enmity between the victims and their rival group.
Till late in the night, no case was registered regarding the incident at the Al-Falah police station.—Staff Reporter
