ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan said on Wednesday that the Sindh government should permit Imran Khan to hold his rally in Karachi, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to media representatives outside the Supreme Court, Ahsan said not permitting the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) to hold the rally would give the impression that the PPP and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) were afraid of Khan's growing popularity.

Ahsan moreover said that Khan had emerged as a third power in the political landscape and that he and Khan had respectful ties.

Responding to a question on the NRO implementation case, Ahsan said all orders given by the court should be implemented.
