KARACHI: Afaq Ahmed, Chairman of Mohajir Qaumi Movement (MQM- Haqiqi) has been detained under Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) for 30 days here at Landhi District Jail on Tuesday by Sindh government through a notification issued by the Home Department on Tuesday.

Afaq Ahmed had been in jail since April 2004 in different cases. He was granted bail on Saturday by ATC-II in the last case registered against him in connection with a kidnapping for ransom case.
