TOBA TEK SINGH, Nov 27: A girl, who was kidnapped from her house in Chak 391/JB six months ago and was abandoned near a relative’s house in injured condition a couple of weeks ago, has succumbed to her wounds at Allied Hospital in Faisalabad.

Mushtaq Ahmad, of Chak 391/JB, filed an application with the Sadar police, alleging that Adnan, Afzal, Ashraf and Nadeem, all residents of Chak 392/JB, kidnapped his daughter (S) six months ago.

The suspects also raped her during her detention besides torturing her. He said that when his daughter’s condition deteriorated, the suspects threw her in unconscious condition outside the house of his relative Muhammad Arshad in Bakhshi Park in Toba city two weeks ago. She was shifted to DHQ Hospital from where doctors referred her to Allied Hospital owing to her critical condition.

The Sadar police refused to register a case on the score that city police should be moved in this connection as the girl was abandoned and found in that police's precincts. The city police were yet to receive any application to register the case.
