Farmer killed

ATTOCK, Nov 21: An old farmer was killed by two rivals over a land dispute in Hazro.

Tufail Shah reported to Hazro police that his father was busy working in the fields on Sunday evening when two villagers Mohammad Rafaqat and Mohammad Mubarak arrived there on a tractor and tried to destroy his crops. On offering resistance, they attacked his father and escaped from the scene injuring him seriously.

He died as he was being shifted to the local hospital. Police registered a murder case against the accused and investigation was underway. —Correspondent
