LAHORE, Nov 4: A woman who had suffered acid burns a few weeks ago died at Mayo Hospital on Friday.

Police said Kiran Bibi, 25, was acid attacked by Naeem and Aslam, who shared a rented room with her in Hanjarwal.

Hanjarwal police ASI Muhammad Aslam said Naeem and Aslam had met Kiran at a shrine two-and-half months ago. Police did not divulge more details.

Kiran was shifted to Mayo Hospital where she succumbed to her acid burns on Friday.

The police registered a murder case against Aslam and Naeem.

The body was sent to the city morgue for autopsy, the ASI said.—Staff Reporter
