LARKANA, Oct 5: A woman and her two little sons were kidnapped from Hamzo Jatoi village, eight kilometres from here on Tuesday.

Badshahzadi, 30, along with her children Mujeeb, 8, and Tauqeer, 2, was on way to her village in a rickshaw after getting medicines for her son Tauqeer from Larkana when Ali Mardan Jatoi and others kidnapped them, said Ms Sonbai, sister of the victim.

Ms Sonbai lodged an FIR at the Akil police station, accusing Mashooq Jatoi, Ali Mardan Jatoi, Waris Jatoi and seven other unidentified men of idnapping her sister and her sons.

Mohammed Amin Jatoi, brother of Badshahzadi told journalists, blamed a Rajib Jatoi for the kidnapping and said that his brother Mohammed Hassan alias Haji had married Jamila Jatoi, daughter of Rajib Jatoi, in a court of law eight months ago. The couple was presently living in Karachi, he said.

He said the marriage strained relations between the two families Rajib had his sister and two children kidnapped to take revenge. The kidnappers escaped to kutcha area, he said.

Police have so far not made any arrest.

Our Naushahro Feroze correspondent adds: Two men are feared to have been kidnapped from Qasim Khahi stop near here on Tuesday.

Zafar Ali Sehto, superintendent in Labour Court Sukkur, and Abdul Jabbar Memon who works for Sindh Rural Support Programme an NGO, in Kandhkot, were waiting for a bus at the bus stop to leave for Sukkur when a car stopped there and the driver and another occupant invited offered them a lift.

The two, both residents of Qasim Khahi, got into the car and have been missing since, according to relatives.

They said their mobile phones had been switched off since then although they had not received any ransom call.

Dr Mohammad Ibrahim, brother of Abdul Jabbar, said that they had informed the DPO and the SHO of Bhirya town and police had recorded their statement.

Mazhar Sehto, brother of Zafar Ali, said that mobile numbers of both the men had been given to the DPO.

They said they were waiting for a call from the kidnappers because they believed they had been kidnapped. They had also checked all hospitals from Bhirya to Sukkur but not found any report about them.
