Speech contest with a purpose

LAHORE, Oct 2: Sixteen police officials participated in a speech competition on the martyrdom and dutifulness at Qilla Gujjar Singh Police Lines.

The objective of the competition, organized by Civil Lines division SP (Operations) Muhammad Omer Saeed, was to create an enthusiasm and courage among policemen for the protection of citizens and the country besides highlighting the potential and self-confidence among the force.

Four additional SHOs, a sub-inspector, three lady constables and eight constables took part in the contest.

The SP awarded cash and certificates to position holders.

The certificates were also distributed among the best SHO (Racecourse SHO Waseem Akhtar), additional SHO (Mughalpura additional SHO Malik Shabbir Awan) and PO staff (SI Muhammad Sajjad).
