KARACHI, Sept 27: Three armed robbers deprived teachers of their gold jewellery, cellphones and cash on a school premises in Bhitai Colony on Tuesday.

It all started at around 11.30am when a young man posing as the parent of a girl entered Abbasi Public School seeking admission, said a duty officer of the Ibrahim Hydri police station.

He was followed by his two accomplices who after assessing the security situation at the private school took out pistols, the official said. He added that they deprived teachers of their jewellery, mobile phones and Rs13,000 and walked off.
