KHUZDAR: Unidentified armed assailants gunned down the central leader of Balochistan National Party (Mengal) and President Jhalawan Lawyers Forum, Abdul Salam Baloch Advocate here on Wednesday evening.

Local Levies sources said the deceased was on his way home from office along with his daughter when unidentified assailants sprayed his vehicle with a volley of bullets.

He received multiple shot injuries and died on the spot. His daughter was also injured and rushed to the nearby hospital.

A Levies party reached, cordoned off the area and started an investigation.
