LAHORE, Sept 26: A 35-year-old man was shot dead allegedly by his neighbour in Mecca Colony of Gulberg on Monday.

Naseerabad police said Sohail Masih alias Tooti, father of three, was shot at and wounded by Shahzad after the former resorted to hooliganism allegedly under the influence.

Sohail was transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.

TRAIN ACCIDENT: A 25-year-old man was killed after a speeding train hit him near Kot Lakhpat railway station.

Quoting witnesses, Kot Lakhpat police said the victim Jamshaid Aziz of Attock district was apparently trying to cross the track when Karachi-bound Tezgam hit him.

Police have informed the family of the deceased about the accident. — Staff Reporter
