Old rivalry claims life

GUJAR KHAN, Sept 19: Old rivalry led to the killing of a young man while his brother sustained bullet injuries as their opponents allegedly opened fire at them here on Sunday night.

According to the police sources Mohammad Farooq and his brother were passing through the street of a private housing scheme when their opponents Mohammad Saddique, his sons Mehrban, Irfan and Bashir reportedly opened indiscriminate fire killing Farooq at the spot while his brother Babar was admitted to the hospital in a critical state.

Police have registered case against the accused and further investigations are under way. — Correspondent
