LAHORE, Aug 20: Factory Area police arrested their two police constables for allegedly detaining a woman and selling her for ‘prostitution’.

DIG (Operations) Ghulam Mehmood Dogar after receiving an application from Muhammad Rafique of Sitara Colony ordered the Factory Area SHO to recover the woman who was picked up by constables Faisal Umer and Asif Lal from a place.

The SHO raided the place, where Zainab was detained by the cops, arrested two brothers, recovered the woman and later took the constables into custody.

Zainab told the police that she was sold by constables to two brothers Khadim Awais and Riaz for Rs50,000.

Police have registered a case against the four accused.
