KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah had condemned the attack on a bus carrying policemen in Korangi on Friday and direct officials to provide better health facilities to the injured.

Four policemen were killed and more than 25 others injured in a late night ambush on their bus in Korangi, one of several strife-hit areas.

In a statement issued by the Chief Minister House, Shah said that miscreants wanted to destroy the peace of the city but they would not be allowed to carry out their nefarious plan.

Strict action would be taken against the culprits and they will be severely punished according to law, the statement quoted Shah as saying.
