QUETTA: Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Monday said that the Pakistan Army and intelligence agencies have no involvement in the tortured bodies being found in Balochistan, DawnNews reported.

Speaking in Quetta, Kayani said that there is no military operation taking place in any part of Balochistan.

He said that the army cannot contact any of the Baloch leaders outside Pakistan and it was the government’s job to speak with them.

Kayani said that the Pakistan army was trying to play a positive role in Balochistan.
