LAHORE, July 28: The Anti-Corruption Establishment has reportedly arrested some students who had purchased the leaked entrance test paper.

It is learnt that internet cafe owner Shujauddin Zaidi told the police that he had only sent e-mails from his address on the request of a customer, Asif Naseer. Upon identification, the police held Asif who said he was also appearing for the UET entrance test and identified some more students whom he had sent the mails.

Meanwhile, a source told Dawn that a technical probe committee member had stated that the interrogation of the suspects was revealing that there was a gang involved in the scam. It had also leaked out question-papers of the Federal Public Service Commission, the Punjab Public Service Commission, the Punjab University and the King Edward Medical University, he said.— Staff Reporter
