LAKKI MARWAT, July 26: A man killed his wife and brother and wounded a niece in village Nar Kala Khan in the jurisdiction of Shaheed Asmatullah Khan Khattak police station of Naurang Town here on Tuesday.

Police said that Hasan Gul sprayed the inmates of his house with bullets, killing his wife Gul Khana and brother Noor Rehman. Shad Bibi, a niece of the accused, sustained bullet injuries and was shifted to Naurang Civil Hospital, they said.

The killer managed to escape after the incident.

The motives behind the double murder could not be ascertained immediately.

Police, however, quoted the wounded Shad Bibi as saying that the killer was mentally disturbed. —Correspondent
