KARACHI, July 13: A housewife was killed by a stray bullet in the Garden area on Wednesday.
Police said that the incident occurred at Bano Plaza in Garden East where Afshan, wife of Sajjad, was hanging clothes in the balcony of the apartment when she was hit by a stray bullet. The woman was taken to the Civil Hospital where she died during the treatment.
The police said that victim's husband works at a scrap market in the city.
An FIR of the incident has not been registered at the Garden police station till the filing of this report.
