Warrants for MPA

LAHORE, July 9: An accountability court on Saturday issued bailable arrest warrants for Gujrat MPA Mian Tariq Mahmood for not appearing before the court in connection with a reference of illegal assets against him.

The National Accountability Bureau had filed a reference against the MPA for acquiring assets beyond his known sources of income. The court issued several summons to the accused but he did not turn up. Therefore, the court finally issued his arrest warrants and directed him to appear on July 23 and submit bail bonds of Rs2 million.
