RAWALPINDI, July 9: The anti-terrorism court asked the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to submit fresh and complete details of the moveable and immoveable property of former President Pervez Musharraf on July 23 as the details it submitted on Saturday was not sufficient.

During the in-camera trial into Benazir Bhutto murder case in Adiala Jail, Federal Investigation Agency high-ups, officials of Islamabad administration, District Coordination Officer (DCO) Rawalpindi and Deputy District Officer Revenue, Rawalpindi appeared before Special Judge Shahid Rafique and presented the details of moveable and immoveable property of former president Pervez Musharraf, an accused in the case.

The FIA officials informed the court that they had written a letter to Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and General Headquarters (GHQ) to provide details about Pervez Musharraf’s property and the response from both of them was awaited.

It may be mentioned here that the court had issued permanent warrants of former president in Benazir Bhutto assassination case and also ordered the FIA and district administration to provide the details of his moveable and immoveable property.

But, on Saturday, the FIA failed to provide the details of his property. The defense and prosecution lawyers informed the newsmen that FIA apprised the court that former president Pervez Musharraf did not own any property in Rawalpindi, however, he had a farmhouse in Islamabad whereas some agricultural land located at Mouza Kotha Kallan, near Ayub National Park Rawalpindi was in the name of his wife Begum Sehba Musharraf.—A Reporter
