LAKKI MARWAT, June 16: Police claimed to have arrested five outlaws and 10 suspects during a search operation in a village of the district near the border of Frontier Region of Lakki on Thursday.

“A police contingent backed by armoured personnel carriers besieged the hideouts of criminals in Bargai village, bordering FR Lakki,” said an official.

He said that the law enforcers arrested five outlaws and recovered two Kalashnikovs, two rifles and a large number of bullets from them. “The arrested criminals include Ihsanullah, Saifullah, Hafizullah, Arab Khan and Kaloo Khan.

They are wanted by Bannu police in murder, attempt to murder and other cases of heinous nature,” he added.
