PESHAWAR, May 31: A teenager girl who sustained bullet injures two days ago inside her residence died at hospital while a college student was shot dead by unknown accused on rooftop of a bus here on Tuesday.

Saba Gul, 16, daughter of Bakhtiar of Pando, had sustained bullet wounds inside her residence two days ago while her mother Nihayat Bibi was killed on the spot. The girl, in her statement, had stated that her brother Imran was responsible for the attack.

An official of Pando police station said that a murder case against the accused had been registered.

In another case, a third year student identified as Said Aman of Malak Din Khel area in Bara, Khyber Agency, was shot dead near Sarband village by unknown person while he was returning home on the rooftop of Bara-bound bus near Sarband village, police said.

Referring to the statements of the bus driver and conductor and some students, the Sarband police station SHO said that the victim had exchanged hot words with his colleagues on rooftop of the bus before the incident, but it could not be ascertained who had killed him.

Quoting statement of the victim’s brother, the SHO said that his family had enmity in Bara, but the complainant did not nominate the accused in the FIR so far.
