ATTOCK, May 27: Seven policemen, including SHO, Fatehjang police station were suspended on the orders of the Lahore High Court (LHC) for illegally detaining a person and later implicating him in a false narcotics case.

SHO Jand police station was also suspended on the orders of the additional district and sessions judge Attock after a criminal case was registered against him for illegally marrying an already married woman.

Police sources said DPO Dr Akhtar Abbas suspended SHO Akhtar Ali, SI Safdar Khan, constables Imran, Mushtaq, Adnan, Anjum Abbas and Nasir.

SHO Jand police station Akhlaz Khan was suspended on the orders of additional district and sessions judge, sources said.  —Correspondent
