CHAKWAL, May 23: A man having an affair with a woman who was murdered last month in Talagang turned out to be the killer, police said on Monday.
Police have arrested Noor Hassan, claiming he had confessed to killing Saleem Akhtar alias Kosar. The woman was found murdered on April 29.
Hassan had extra marital relations with Kosar, who had taken divorce from her husband a year back, according to the police.
About the motive behind the murder, the accused told the police that her “character was not good”. —Correspondent
