KARACHI, May 11: Bullet-riddled bodies of two young men were found at a desolate place in Mowach Goth on Wednesday, police said.

The Mauripur police said that the bodies were found near the Edhi graveyard, where the charity buried unclaimed bodies. The victims were blindfolded and their hands were tied with pieces of ropes.

“The bodies were shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities,” said an official at the Mauripur police station. “One of the victims was hit by three bullets while the second had sustained two bullet wounds. Doctors said they were shot from a very close range.”

He said the police did not find any evidence that could help trace the family links of the victims. The victims appear to be in their early-30s and clad in shalwar-kameez, he said, adding that the bodies were shifted to the Edhi morgue for a want of identification.
