LAHORE, May 10: Police arrested on Tuesday the kidnapper of a 17-year-old boy abducted for a Rs2million ransom from the New Anarkali area three months ago, and found his skeleton from a house in Ferozewala, Sheikhupura district. Police said Muhammad Waqas had gone missing on February 3, 2011.

The family received calls by an unidentified man a few days after the kidnapping who demanded a Rs2m ransom. The suspects got Rs5,000 twice through the 'easy load' facility of cell phone.

Islampura investigation in charge Anwar Cheema traced one of the suspects with the help of cell phone data.

The accused confessed to committing murder two months ago and burying the body in the courtyard of a rented house along GT Road.
