UMERKOT, May 2: A farmer was kidnapped from near Samaro on Sunday night.

Nale Chango Odhejo was asleep at his agriculture farm, 7km from Samaro, when four armed men entered the premises and kidnapped him, according to police. They drove away with Mr Odhejo in a car.

The incident was witnessed by a shepherd who was sleeping nearby and woke up on the noise made by the car, police said.

According to police, raids were conducted on the hideouts and houses of some criminals but no clues were found.

No case was registered till late Monday evening.
