KASUR, April 24: Phoolnagar police on Sunday morning recovered bodies of two alleged robbers near BS Link canal bridge (Baloki).

Police claimed that the robbers were killed by the firing of their accomplices over some issue. On the other hand, families of the robbers alleged that the police had killed them in a fake encounter and later threw bodies near the canal.

The deceased were identified as Naseer of Baloki and Hameed of Guro village.

The robbers were wanted in a number of robbery and dacoity cases. Police said they were killed either by their rivals or accomplices.
