KARACHI: The iconic Moin Akhtar was laid to rest in the Model Town cemetery on Saturday as thousands gathered for the funeral prayer, DawnNews reported.

People with in Pakistan and abroad mourned at the death of the versatile actor. Moin Akhtar passed away on Friday, April 22 after he had a heart attack.

He was 60. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and three sons.
