SHEIKHUPURA, April 12: District Coordinator Officer Ibrar Mirza found a huge cache of expired medicines in the store of the district headquarters hospital during an unscheduled visit on Tuesday.
Patients told the DCO that the hospital administration was giving them expired medicines. As the DCO called explanation from hospital’s medical superintendent Anwar Awan, he said these expired medicines had been accumulated by his predecessor.
